The EAAE mailing list is only open to members of the association. The name of the eaae mailing list is eaae-list@eso.org. In order to register, you must send an email to majordomo@eso.org with the following text (not in the 'subject' line!):

subscribe eaae-list (your email address)

A response is sent back that says that the owner must approve the registration. When the registration has been approved the new subscriber will be registered and receives a confirmatory message. As a member of the mailing list it is possible to send around circular mailings by simply sending a message to the list. From here it will be sent on to all who have registered.
